Meditations

It’s essential to do the meditations in the order in which they’re given to obtain maximum benefit. You can repeat them as often as you wish, and in the future you may want to try others. That’s fine. Before you start, make sure you read the following section on forgiveness below.

Forgiveness is in three stages. Don’t worry if you’re not ready to proceed through all of them right now. With this and every chakra, you can come back and repeat the meditations whenever you want to and it may take some time before you feel you can do it all. That’s fine. Don’t push yourself. It may be that you have to proceed further and understand more before you feel you can forgive fully. But for now, here are those stages.

Stage 1- If I do something to hurt you and say I’m sorry you can forgive me for what I said.

Stage 2- You can come to realize that whatever I did, I did because of my own process and what was going on in my life at the time. My anger or irritability or the way I treated you was not really about you but about the difficulties I was having. You can understand and forgive me with compassion.

Stage 3- You can rise to the highest spiritual perspective and realize that you set various lessons for yourself in this lifetime and so you needed someone to help you learn those lessons. For example, if I needed to learn about betrayal, then I needed someone to betray me. Now from this place, you can forgive me with love, compassion, understanding and gratitude.

Meditation

Go to your safe place and take the phone off the hook. Give yourself about 45 minutes without disturbance to complete this meditation. Be as comfortable as you can with your spine as erect as possible, using whatever support you need, and your feet firmly on the floor. If you, are disabled or, for some reason, unable to meditate sitting upright, it’s possible to do so lying down. Some people favor the classic cross-legged yoga position.

Now…..take a deep breath and hold the air for a moment to extract the goodness from it. Enjoy, and when you breathe out let any impurities flow out in your breath. Take another deep breath and this time, as you breathe out, allow your body to relax: let your shoulders fall, let the chair take your weight, let anything negative flow out through your root chakra and through the soles of your feet. Relax. Repeat this, taking your time. Let yourself breathe in the goodness of the air, the energy that you’ve created in your safe place with your crystals and oil. Then you breathe out, let a wave of relaxation pass through you as you let go of anything you no longer need. Now, take your focus back and back and back in time. You’re going back to the point of your conception. Back to the moment when one cell from your mother and one cell from your father joined and your physical being was created.

Back to the time when you were warm and safe in your mother’s womb. And now, I want to wrap the time, events and people of that time and up to the age of about five in a parcel that you’re going to heal. You don’t have to remember the details unless you want to.

Wrap your child self of that time securely in love, holding gently, holding firmly, holding with healing and love and light.

And now, with your child self still securely, wrapped in love and light in your heart, be gentle with yourself. Take your time. If, at any time, you feel you’re not ready to proceed, simply stop. Return using your grounded exercise and gently bring your focus back to the room. You do not have to do the whole process today, you can return to it when you’re ready.
